Governor Cox & Initiative to Disagree Better
I appreciate Governor Spencer Cox’s “Disagree Better” initiative, which encourages Utahns to have civil, respectful conversations even when we see things differently. I believe that lasting solutions come through understanding, not division. In Ivins, we may not always agree on every issue, but I hope we can all listen a little more carefully, speak a little more kindly, and remember that most people—regardless of viewpoint—want what’s best for our community. If we can approach our differences with patience, humility, and a willingness to learn, we’ll not only disagree better—we’ll build a stronger Ivins together.

Honoring Charlie Kirk’s Influence
I am grateful to Charlie Kirk and the role he has played in encouraging civic engagement, open dialogue, and a renewed sense of responsibility for our communities. His faith and commitment to God, family, and country have inspired countless people to live with conviction and purpose. He has shown that strong values can guide public service and that we can build a healthier democracy when those values are paired with respect and openness.

In my campaign for city council, I want to continue that spirit. Our community is stronger when we make room for honest discussion, even when we don’t always agree. Respectful debate and listening with curiosity are the foundations of lasting solutions. I am committed to ensuring that every neighbor has the opportunity to share their voice, to be heard, and to know that their perspective matters in shaping the future of our city. Like Charlie, I believe that faith, family, and love of country should be at the heart of how we serve one another.
